Glenda Childs (4th-8th grade) is a Colorado Certified teacher with a B.A. in Elementary Ed. and a M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction. She has a passion to teach and loves to create an enthusiasm for learning in her students by using a variety of materials and curriculum. She has worked with children of all ages since 1985, including teaching in Jefferson County Public Schools and in a private Christian school. She also enjoyed homeschooling her own 3 children for 17 years. She founded Shiloh Christian Academy in 2008 to partner with homeschoolers in their educational journey and to offer Testing, Umbrella Coverage and Curriculum Consulting to fellow homeschool families.

Candice Tabacchi (1st-3rd grade) received a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies from CSU. She completed a K-6 teaching licensure program while earning a Master’s in Elementary Education from Regis. Candice spent a decade in DCSD teaching primary and intermediate grade levels, serving as the instructional resource teacher and webmaster, creating online curriculum, opening a new school, and mentoring student teachers. In recent years, she and her children have enjoyed homeschooling together! Candice can’t wait to see what God has in store for Shiloh and each precious child that walks through its doors!

Grace Rapert (Graphic Design, Aid) is a SCA alumni who attended for five years. She returned in 2023 as a teacher's aid and graphic design teacher. In the time since graduating high school in 2022, she has illustrated two children’s books, designed 3 clothing lines for John Deere, worked in logo creation for various companies and is a creative director for Do-A-Dot Art! She loves guiding others in strengthening their skills and building confidence in their creativity, as well as encouraging them to use their talents to further the kingdom of God.

Lynda Finch (Art) is a contemporary realist artist who has lived in the Denver metro area for over 40 years. Lynda graduated from Texas Tech University with a BFA in Studio Art. She worked as the Head Staff Artist for the Casper Star Tribune (Wyoming) and received four awards for her graphic art and cover designs. Since moving to Denver, she has received numerous awards at art shows in the Denver metro area and was accepted into the Adirondacks National Watermedia Exhibit in New York. Lynda paints all kinds of subjects, and she uses multiple mediums. Watercolor is her preferred medium. One of the unique things in her artwork is the use of vibrant colors in ordinary objects. When she is not painting, Lynda teaches art lessons and conducts workshops to children and adults.

Sarah Ritz received her B.S. in Biology from UC Denver. She has homeschooled six of her seven children through the years and has a passion for teaching kids about God and the world. She also serves with several international mission ministries and loves learning about new cultures and seeing God advance His Kingdom throughout the world. 
She is excited to help Shiloh Christian Academy instruct the next generation in truth and grace.

Erin Knight (English Comp) received her B.A. in English and teaching certificate from Washington State University. Her writing portfolio passed with distinction ranking her amongst the top 10% of undergraduate writers at W.S.U. Her love for the written word and desire to encourage students in their academic endeavors led to a career as a secondary English teacher in the mid 2000’s. Her passion these days is to curate teaching strategies that encourage success in the classroom for students across a spectrum of abilities. She embarked on the adventure of homeschooling her own children in 2020 and is absolutely delighted to partner with Shiloh and support students and families in their homeschool journey.
